Whom shall I fear?
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall
I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Fear is the natural reaction of humans to danger. Fear has a crippling effect and it is one the devil’s major tools of operation.

Therefore, there are several verses in the bible that encourages christians not to fear.

There are verses like:
– Isaiah 41:10
Fear not I am with you…
– Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you to be strong and of good courage, be not afraid..
-1 John 4:18
Fear has torment but perfect love…..
-1 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear but…

The bible has several other verses on fear because, fear can prevent us from fulfilling our mission as ambassadors of Christ. Replace your fear with faith which can help you move mountains or resolve problems in your life.

Hebrews 13:6
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

This verse from the new testament shows us how to deal with fear. Believing that God is our helper and that He can protect us from all the things that put fear into us.

Trust in God with all your heart at all times and He will replace your fear with faith

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Believe without any doubt that the Lord is your helper therefore there is no need to fear.

Meditate on the words of this song

Where I seek God’s face
And He gives me strength to carry on
He carries me

He comforts me in the valley
When I am going through a storm
He protects me in His arms.

That is the reason why I say
The Lord is my light
And my salvation
Whom.shall I fear
He the strength of my life
Day and night
No need to be afraid.
