Will your anchor hold?
Joshua 1:9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

What principles and beliefs is your life based on? Do you believe in the one supreme being and creator of all things? Who you depend on and what you believe in will determine whether your anchor will hold.

If you believe in the Almighty God Yahweh, then His promise to you in the storms of life is in Joshua 1:9. Be strong and courageous because He is with you wherever you go and in whatever you do.

Philippians 1:28 says
In nothing be terrified of your adversaries……,
Why? Because the Almighty God is with you to guide and strengthen you to overcome the storms in your life.

2 Corinthians 12:9
And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me

This verse from the new testament says God ‘s strength is made perfect in our weakness. Therefore, do not worry when you are the”underdog” or the “weakling”. God’s grace is sufficient and enough to turn things around. He is your anchor, firm and strong. The strongest storm will not make you drift or drown because your anchor can hold and keep you safe

Or firm remain?

We have an anchor that keeps the soul
Steadfast and sure
While the billows roll
Fastened to the rock
Which cannot move
Grounded firm and deep
In the Savior’s love
