Worship God, in spirit and truth
1 Chronicles 16:29
Give unto the Lord the glory due His name: bring an offering, and come before Him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness

To worship God in spirit and in truth is to worship God from your heart, it should be sincere and motivated by our love for God and gratitude for all He has done for us.

It should not be mechanical or formal. Just following actions and body movements that usually go with worship.

As you go to church, prepare your heart and mind to praise and worship God sincerely. Come also with an offering to thank God for seeing you through another week and for the many blessings he has showered on you .

Psalm 34:1 says
I will bless the Lord at all times His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Praising and worshipping God should not be reserved for only Sundays, it should be done always as the Psalmist says.

John 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship of Him in spirit and in truth

This verse from the new testament also re-emphasizes the need to praise and worship God in spirit and in truth.

Be sincere with God
Galatians 6:7says
..God is not mocked. For whatever you sow , that will you reap ( paraphrased)
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Seek to worship God sincerely and continually.

Prayer
Lord help me to be sincere when I worship you.
