You are an eagle
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint.

The eagle is one of the biggest birds but it can fly higher than any other bird. The secret of the eagle lies not only in it’s size and strong wings but also in the fact that it is able to glide in the air and allow the winds to carry it.

You are also an eagle as a christian because God expects you to trust Him completely, let go of your will and allow Him to help you soar higher than the eagle.

The verse above says they that wait on the Lord, ( spend time in the presence of God, praying and studying the word and applying it to their lives) can soar to great heights like the eagle.

Learn to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

When you keep doing things your own way, it is like flying against the wind, you cannot go as high as the eagle or excel

Revelations 4:7
And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, the third beast had a face like a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

The next verse after Revelations 4:7 says these four beasts rest not day and night , saying holy, holy, Lord God Almighty. They never get tired because they were created to worship God always.

We are also expected to worship God all the days of our lives as often as possible

1. Let go, and allow God to guide you through life.
