You are destined to win
Deuteronomy 28:13
And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail;and thou shall be above only, and thou shall not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, and observe and to do them.

A songwriter wrote:
Destined to win
Guided by His love
Strengthened by His power
Destined to win
Following the Lord
Till the battle is over
We are destined to win

The verse above says that once you obey the commandments of the Lord you are destined to win because God will make you the head and not the tail in every challenge and temptation.

Like the song says, what we need to do is to “follow the Lord” or be imitators of Christ as Ephesians 5:1-2 says.

Romans 8:37
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

Romans 8 also says we are more than conquerors through Christ, also confirming that we are destined to win.

No matter what situation you find yourself in, always remember you are destined to win. It’s a fixed fight and we already won through the work Jesus did on the cross.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Always have the mind and attitude of a winner.
2. Know and believe that your praise and worship especially in discouraging situations is your major weapon as a soldier in the Lord’s army.

Prayer
I may never match in the infantry
Ride in the calvary
Shoot the artillery
I may never fly over the enemy
But I am in the Lord’s army.
Father make me a good soldier of Christ. Amen
