You have been bought with a price
Isaiah 44:22
I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed you.
In the verse above, God says he has redeemed us. To be able to redeem someone you have to pay a price to the person’s oppressor for his or her freedom.
God had to sacrifice His only begotten Son in order to free us from the grip of the evil one. This is a very expensive sacrifice.
We owe God our salvation and we should be very grateful.
1 Corinthians 6:20
For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
One way of showing our appreciation to God is to present our bodies as a living sacrifice or glorify God with our body. You can do this by dedicating your life to serving God.
In addition to this stay away from sin especially sins that defile the body.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. You can present your body as a living sacrifice by serving God faithfully. Take part in all church activities.
