Live by faith
LIVE BY FAITH

Now the just shall live by faith; but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him
But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
I believe the Apostle Paul when writing the passage above had in mind, the fact that there are sometimes in life, when our circumstances are such that it is difficult to progress or move forward confidently.
In such a situation all you can do is live by faith living by faith involves
Believing that with God all things are possible

Being strong in the lord

Praying without ceasing

Believing that with God all things are possible
Jeremiah 342:27
Behold, I am the lord, the God all flesh; is there anything too hard for, me
According to the verse above, is nothing the lord cannot do because he is the lord God of all flesh, the creator of the universe and he has no limitations. nothing is too hard for him to do come before him with your challenge, pray for help and directions from the word of God. Obey the conditions given in the verse you choose from the bible and pray till everything is settled
for instance, you need direction on how to relate to your friends and loved pones
6:9 -10 says and let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not as we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith
As the passage above says continue to do good to all friends, loved ones and those who in need, even if they do not appreciate it. At God’s appointed time you will be rewarded for all you do.
Mathew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. No matter how difficult your challenge may be, believe without any doubt that God is able to see you though. Pray for grace and strength from God to keep you until the victory is won.
Being strong in the Lord
Ephesians 6:10-11
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, ad in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wills of the devil.
There are times we need to take decisions. Sometimes, no matter the line of action you decide to take, you will face opposition from certain groups of people.
In such situations, you have to be strong in the Lord and apply your spiritual weapons (armour of God) as the passage above says. Prayer, the word of God, praise and worship and live by faith. Because that by the grace of God, whatever action you decide to take based on the word of God, will give you the victory in spite of the opposition you face.
This hymn gives all the direction you need.
1. Courage brother do not stumble through thy path be dark as night there is a star to guide the humble trust in God and do the night.
2. simple rule and safest guiding inward peace and inward might star upon our path abiding trust in God and do the night.
3. some will hate you, some will love you some will some will slight cease from man and look above thee.
Trust in God and do the right
4. let the road be rough and weary and its end far out of sight. Foot it bravely, strong or weary

Praying without ceasing
1 Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.
Ephesians 6:18
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching there unto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
The only way you can “live by faith” successfully is to pray constantly because you will need the grace and strength of God to keep you. Pray constantly, at least three times a day, morning, afternoon and evening
In between these three major praying times find time to whisper a prayer to God wherever you may be no matter what you may be doing. You do not have to pray out loud.
Giving thanks in everything
1 Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Learn to give thanks no matter your circumstances. In bad times, you do not thank God for the challenge or problem but you thank Him for the victory He will give you over your circumstances. In good times, you thank God for His favor and blessing and pray that He continues to bless you. choose to live by faith, it is something you have to make a conscious effort to do. It is not easy to thank God and continue to progress in whatever you are doing when all is not well as it should be.
Philippians 4:6-7 says
Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God, And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
